Coos Bay Library has teamed up with Coos Head Food Co-op's Outreach Coordinator, Jamar, to  provide safe, easy, and healthy recipes to create at home. Join us virtually on Zoom for this fun community event!

For this month’s recipe, Jamar will be featuring JACKFRUIT BBQ SLIDERS. Scroll down for ingredients.

Jamar's ingredients:
1 Red Onion
2 Cans of Jackfruit
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Smoked Paprika
Cumin
BBQ Sauce (sauce of your choice)
Buns (of your choice) can work on ciabatta buns and gluten free buns as well.
Rice Wine Vinegar
1/2 Small Red Cabbage (any grocery store can slice in half for you)
Whole Carrots or a Bag of Shredded Carrots (if you do not have a food processor or a mandolin)\
Jalapeno (optional)
Coconut Sugar
