Who We Are

Coos Bay Public Library connects our community to information in various forms, ensures equitable access to information and technology, and provides opportunities for learning, cultural enrichment and improved quality of life.

The Coos Bay Public Library was established in 1910 through the efforts of dedicated citizens and a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. The current facility was built in 1965 with an expansion and remodel done in 1998.
