Meet other parents or caregivers and learn songs, rhymes, and early literacy tips.  Geared towards kids 0-14 months and an adult parent or caregiver. 

Sing, read, talk, write, and play with the children in your life! Join us for a family storytime this summer at the library for rhymes, songs, and stories for children and a parent or a caregiver!    

Toddlers and preschoolers get ready to craft!  Beginning in October, the library will offer a hands-on arts and craft program for toddlers and preschoolers (and their parent or caregiver) the third Thursday of the month.  Each month will

Are you looking to be inspired, empowered, and uplifted? Join our women's empowerment book club where we read and discuss books that celebrate the achievements and resilience of women from all walks of life.

Ages 4-6 with a parent or caregiver

Stories, rhymes, and activities with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) focus for older preschoolers, ages 4-6 with a parent or caregiver. 

Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with with American Sign Language instructor, Kandy Bergquist, will co-host ASL Practice Place every third Thursday of the month on Zoom!

Calling all crafty teens and adults! Have an appetite to get creative? Pick up a free monthly Craft Takeout kit in the library on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Teens aged 12-18 are invited to join us for a Slime Party where will make our own slime, jazz it up, and have a contests with our creations!
