Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with with American Sign Language instructor, Kandy Bergquist, will co-host ASL Practice Place every third Thursday of the month on Zoom!

Michael P. Branch is a professor of literature and environment at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he teaches creative nonfiction, American literature, environmental studies, and film studies.

The Young Writers Group will meet at the Coos Bay Public Library from 4:00pm-5:00pm.  The program is designed for writers ages 12-18 to jumpstart their writing.  Each week, we'll have a writing prompt or game, time to write independently
