Coos Bay Library, in collaboration with Dennis Dater from AARP Driver Safety, will be offering WE NEED TO TALK, an informational seminar designed to help adult children and friends learn how to talk to their loved ones when it is time to limit or stop driving. Dennis, a trained facilitator, will lead attendees through conversations on a variety of topics: meaning and importance of driving to older adults; recognizing warning signs of unsafe driving; identifying and creating a plan to use other modes of transportation; and tips for having productive discussions about safe driving.
