Dungeons & Dragons One Shot

Sand shifting at your weight making it difficult to move.

Bright sunlight still blinding as your eyes start to focus.

Blurs slowly becoming shapes, and shapes becoming lines.

The heat from the sun keeping you down as you attempt to stand up.

Limbs barely capable of movement, twitching and slowly connecting, you begin to move.

Lurching forward, catching yourself you manage to stand up.

Your hearing starts to return as you wipe the sweat off your cheek.

The roar of the crowd, the chanting and stomping.

Like ants making thunder, the number of them in an uproar cheering you on.

The dust begins to settle around you, shadowy figures begin to stand up near you.

Adrenaline kicking in, your eyes back in focus.

Scanning the crowd, you see the mage that invited you to this event give you a nod and a sly smile.

A swirl of lights flood your vision and swirl around you as you come back to your senses.

You are in front of a large stone staircase, your foot jerks back from the first step.

Muffled cackling from a distance followed by silence.

A gust of wind from above you, the doors opening up.

Loud bellowing that echoes and reverberates your bones.

"Welcome, to the tournament of eternal champions"

Drums play as Will-o'-wisp light up the stone stairwell up to the door.

Seats are prioritize for Registered Players first, and then filled by other available players.
