Prepare for the solar eclipse (October 14) by learning more about astronomy.  SWOCC's SPEAR (Space, Physics, Engineering, and Astronomy Research) will bring SWOCC's new portable planetarium and some SPEAR members to talk about the upcoming eclipse. This family-friendly event will be held at the Coos Bay Fire Department.  The event is both a SWOCC OSGC PRISMS and NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador event and is being coordinated by Dr. Aaron Coyner and Krystal M. Hopper Meyers.
