Library Closures

The library will be closed 10am to 1:30pm on Thursday, August 29th. Regular open hours resume at 1:30pm.

The library will also be closed Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Regular open hours resume Tuesday, September 3rd.

Join us as we honor and celebrate Native American cultures at the Coos Bay Public  Library. Karen Kitchen (Osage Nation) will deliver an engaging program featuring Native traditional stories that entertain and teach important values. She will also share songs that showcase the beauty and diversity of American Indian music.   Children. families, elders, aunties, uncles, cousins -- all are invited and welcome.
