Coos Bay Juneteenth Celebration and Block Party-African Showcase with Gansango

Travel to Africa to celebrate Juneteenth at a community-wide block party sponsored by the South Coast Equity Coalition! Teaching artists from Gansango Music & Dance Company perform music and dance from West Africa. This interactive performance will entertain and educate, blending contemporary and traditional dance with drumming, song and audience participation.  Bring a lawn chair and a blanket to enjoy the outdoor show across the street from Coos Bay City Hall and in front of Black Market Gourmet.  Stay to enjoy the Juneteenth Celebration at Black Market Gourmet.  All are welcome!
