All Ages Necklace Making with Artist Fish Martinez

Create a one strand hair pipe bone necklace using fire polish, seed beads and brain tanned, smoked leather with artist Fish Martinez (Siletz, Shasta, Shasta Costa, Tututni, Modoc, Yurok, Mescalero Apache, Azteca).  All ages are welcome to participate, but, limited space is available and registration is required.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  All materials provided. 

Martinez is a talented multi-media artist and educator who travels throughout the Pacific Northwest offering a wide range of programming.  In addition to creating traditional regalia, Martinez is a versatile musician who performs hip hop, Pow Wow drumming, and jazz.  Martinez has experience working with all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens.
