Black Bean Smash Burger ingredients:
For the patties:
Black Beans (1 can)
Corn (1 can or frozen bag)
Red Onion
Cheddar Cheese – OPT – Vegan Cheese
1 small can container of Chipotle in Sauce (The sauce will be used more than the pepper itself, but both can be blended to create more sauce)
Salt & Pep (to taste)
Cumin
Paprika
(1 tbsp of spices its to flavor and taste)
Oil for cooking
Sweet Potatoes (1-3 will make enough for 4, depending on size, and how much you like fries)
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Burger Buns (ideally Brioche or Potato)
Cucumbers (or Pickles) - 1 fair sized cucumber should give enough for 4
Arugula
Red Onion
Mayo
Siracha
Mustard
Optional:
Bacon or Bacon alternative
Avocado
Caramelized Onions
Mushrooms
Prep you can do before logging on to Zoom:
Rinse the beans
Pre-heat oven to 350
Put the beans in oven so that they cook up a bit and dry up
(Should take like 10-15 minutes)
Also add corn so it cooks up a bit
Roughly can make 4-6 burgers depending on size of patties.
This also depends on bun size.
