Event Details

The Coos Bay Public Library Foundation is holding its annual fall fundraiser, After Hours at the Library, virtually this year! Enjoy a customized Event To-Go Bag, featuring a tasty selection of hors d'oeuvres from Black Market Gourmet, your choice of beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverage, and commemorative gifts. Pick-up available day of event (October 31st).

Our virtual guest speaker will be criminal historian JD Chandler, author of Murder and Mayhem in Portland, Oregon, and four other local history books. Chandler will introduce his new film The Bloody Treasure of Sunset Bay and discuss a series of murders which occurred in the area of South Slough in the early twentieth century. A link to the virtual event will be provided with purchase of event ticket (link will be sent to the email address provided the week of event).

An online auction is being held at www.biddingowl.com/CoosBayPublicLibraryFound and ends October 31st. Check back frequently as items will continue to be added until October 25th. Auction items will also be on display at Black Market Gourmet. For more information, call (541) 269-1101.
